Wild Worship

Wild Worship

Saturday, December 10, 2022, 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Join us for a spiritual and educational opportunity outdoors! Even as the cold weather approaches we can reconnect with the natural world and form an intimate relationship with the land, water, and creatures with whom we share our homes. A walk at Sachuest Point, environmental exploration, simple worship, and companionship with adults and children will provide an opportunity for contemplation, movement, song, experiential learning, and potentially an everlasting connection. If you are seeking a deeper commitment to building a healthy relationship with the natural world and want to help foster the next generation of stewards, let's start by learning more about the Earth ourselves, helping children understand and appreciate God’s creation and those who live in it.

Nature education offered by Lauren Parmelee, Senior Director of Education at Audubon Society of Rhode Island and worship by Episcopal leaders. There will also be an adult journaling and kids’ drawing component.

All ages are welcome but please have an adult chaperone present for children.

Register for this event online. If you have questions, please contact Emily Skeehan at 914-960-1455.
