WORSHIP

Worship at St. Mary's
Worship is at the heart of our life at St. Mary’s and is an experience both inspiring and joyful. As we worship and celebrate communion, we are part of a symbolic family meal that enriches us and supports us as it does others around the world.

Who'S Welcome?
Anyone! You don’t need to be an Episcopalian or even a Christian to come. Attending service doesn’t commit you to anything.
- No membership fees or entrance fees. (We always welcome donations, but how much you contribute is up to you, and entirely private.)
- No dress code – people normally dress respectfully for church, but you don’t have to wear a suit or a big flowery hat.
- The words of the service are provided on a piece of paper we call a “bulletin” which a greeter will hand you as you arrive.
Receiving the Eucharist is optional. You can stay in your place when people go up to the altar. If you do want to join us for communion, you are welcome. Or you can just come up for a blessing.
All ages are welcome at each service. Please join us for the service that speaks to you.

Children and Families
LIVING INTO OUR BAPTISMAL PROMISE
When a child is baptized, the promise is made to see that the child "is brought up in the Christian faith and life." Having children worship in church with us is one of the ways that we help families live into this promise.

Life Events
THE SACRAMENTAL JOURNEY
At St. Mary's we want to celebrate the joyful events in your life and offer comfort during the difficult ones.
