Advent, Christmas, Epiphany at St. Mary's

Blessed are you who bear the light in unbearable times - who testify to its endurance amid the unendurable.
Blessed are you in whom the light lives, in whom the brightness blazes.

Our Advent theme this year is "bearing the light." These words come from a poem entitled Blessed Are You Who Bear the Light, by Jan Richardson.  A few lines from that poem are quoted above.  You can read the whole poem here.

We invite you to come on an Advent journey towards Christmas this December and learn how we all can be bearers of the light. A list of services and special events can be found on our Event Calendar.
